Procedure for upgrade
There are two ways to Upgrade:
- Full Upgrade(Recommended) - Install and configure TopShopper II and then modify all your shopping pages to point to TopShopper II.
- Quick Upgrade - Install and configure TopShopper II and then modify 4 existing files in the original shopping cart to divert all links to this cart to the new TopShopper II system. Over time, you could modify all your shopping pages one by one to achieve a full upgrade.
For Quick Upgrade:
- Download Topshopper II files and install them on your server.
- Configure and test the TopShopper II system with the built-in test page.
- Download the Quick Upgrade files from this page.
- Upload files supplied to your server to replace the existing files in the 'shopcart' directory of the same name. The upgrade files divert your links from the old cart system to TopShopper II.
